CYANOTYPE

I first started experimenting with cyanotype print making in 2020. I find it a very meditative process that gives me a hands-on experience with photography. Creating cyanotype prints helps me slow down and be more intentional with the photographs I create.

All the photographs below were originally shot by me on digital before being printed as a cyanotype.

I've also been experimenting with cyanotype animation. The above footage I shot in New Zealand in February 2026. I created a contact sheet of frames from the footage, exposed a cyanotype print of them, scanned the developed print and edited the frames back together to recreate the motion of video.
